I agree it is impressive.


I guess I am of the mindset that a school should not only upgrade with a purpose, but to do it with vision (short-term and long-term). Just don't upgrade for the sake of upgrading and have no real long-term vision because a school could end up paying a lot more for future upgrades. Also, a school may not want to end up with a stadium that looks like a patchwork quilt. Given the current state of collegiate athletics, there is more visibility on how schools spend money on capital athletic projects. Some states allow taxpayer dollars to be use to fund those projects. Some states do not, so schools have to rely on private donations. Regardless of how the school raises the funds, everyone involved want to make sure the school gets the most bang for its buck.
